The mission of The Bridge, Inc. is to provide a substance abuse recovery program that will assist women with holistic healing in a safe, nurturing and home-like atmosphere and help return them to their families and communities as healthy and productive participants.
The Bridge, Inc., a gender competent treatment facility in Hastings, NE since 1977, offers unique long-term residential treatment services for women in a therapeutic, transitional setting. We have successfully implemented an educational model for living skills appropriate to recovering women. Our goal is to facilitate the re-socialization of Bridge residents, returning them to their families and communities as healthy, confident, contributing members. The six-month educational model is designed to meet these needs by providing classes on addiction, budgeting, nutrition, parenting, domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, reproductive health, relationship building (intimate and family) and appropriate feelings relating to appropriate actions. All treatment plans are tailored to meet individual client needs.
